Information On LAN Technology
=============================
Assasin is one of the Worlds first trojans (if not the first) to be able to connect to a
Computer on a Lan (you know the victims, the ones with the ip added 192.168.x.x) and do
all all the features of a “Good” Trojan.

How Does it Work?
=================
Basically the only thing stopping you from connecting to a computer behind a LAN is it
not having a real IP, its only a funny ip EG. 192.168.0.1 obviously you cannot connect
to that as it doesn’t exist in the real world but a computer behind a lan can still
access webpages etc as its an OUTGOING connection. This Trojan will do an outgoing
connecton to your “static” ip, and allow a direct connection, the client then sends
commands piggy backing on that direct connection allowing you to do all the commands
that is in Assasin.

Setting up LAN Technology In Server
===================================
Lan Technology is based on a Static IP Notification. You can however sign up to a dns
server (eg. www.no-ip.com , www.dns2go.com) which is free. This will entitle you to have
a Dns name (eg, mydns.dns2go.com) pointing to your IP whenever you connect to the
internet. A small download it required to notify the DNS servers of your IP change when
you connect/reconnect.

1.) Open Client.exe
2.) Click Edit Server
3.) Click Lan Options
4.) Make sure that Lan Connection checkbox is ticked
5.) In “Hostname / IP :” enter your static ip (or your dns hostname, see above)
6.) In Notify Port enter a port of desire (eg. 5696)
7.) in Connection Port enter a port of desire (eg. 5697);
8.) Fill in the rest of the Edit Server as you would normally.

Setting up Lan Technology in Client
===================================
1.) Open Client.exe
2.) Click notification
3.) Click LAN
4.) in notification port enter the port you previously entered in the edit server (default
5696)
5.) in connection port enter the port you previously entered in the edit server (default
5697)
6.) and click “OPEN” this will now open those ports on your computer to allow for a direct
connection BUT ONLY if a Lan computer is detected (otherwise you can connect directly
as you would with any other trojan)

NOTE: Lan technology will only work if the computer you send the trojan to is on a Lan, or
has Lan software/hardware installed. This means that Lan detection can sometimes be
wrong and try and connect to your computer EVEN if you can connect directly.
